If you mount the stopp button directly on the switch, the distance is 0mm. However, if you mount the switch behind a metal plate or similar, the stop button must be mounted on the switch from the front. When the cover is closed, the off button should switch off. The wall thickness must be taken into account. You have the choice between 0, 2, 3 or 3.7mm.
